I was terminated a month ago and from inadvertently sending a wrong email. It has been a struggle to be honest to find a better job considering this was my first hospital job after being a nurse of 6 years. I was very fortunate of this job and with a twist in faith and supervisor I made a mistake and ended up unemployed for a month. I have been applying constantly for any jobs out in this small island, but I don't even know what to say on applications where they asked "explain gap in employment. Or reason for leaving." As much as possible I don't even want any new employer to even call this company for reference but I know that'll be a red flag already. Any helpful advise is welcome. Thanks!

Based on what you've said here, it sounds like the job just wasn't a good fit, and you can say that on your job application. You'll be given the chance to explain it at your interview if you're called for one. Good luck.
