Gateway in Clarksville

U.S.A. Tennessee

Published

Hey everyone. Has anyone worked at, or know someone who has worked at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, Tn? I'm curious as to the med-surg floor, such as pt load, pay, shift diff, do they have enough staff, on-call, etc. Would you recommend it as a place to work? Thanks!

I worked there for two years in the L&D unit. If I remember correctly, I think that night diff was two dollars, and weekend like 1.50. That might not be exactly correct, but it is in the ballfield. I don't know much about the work environment on the med surg floors. That L&D unit keeps to itself.

Hey good afternoon, I know this is an older post, but I thought I would see if you are still on here. Did you end up working for Gateway in Clarksville? HOw was it, I am looking at them for a travel contract..in icu float to pcu kind of deal. Can you give me any insight? THanks

Auntsas82,

What agency are you going through for Gateway??

I had four companies call me yesterday with it. Trinity, RTG, Millenia and I forget teh fourth one. I think alot of them have it posted. Do you have experience with this hospital?

Specializes in Postpartum, Antepartum, Psych., SDS, OR.

Would you care to list the pay rates for the agencies you mentioned?

Oh, if I can remember. I believe RTG offered the most, I believe it was around 30+perdiem...so around 34/35. Trinity was only offering me around 27 maybe. I dont remember the others. I got submitted but never heard back from them, my recruitor said it was filled. Hope this helps a little, its been a few weeks.
