Temple College ADN Program (Temple, TX)

Published

There wouldn't be any prospective students here trying to get into the Temple College ADN program for fall 2009, would there?

I just took my NET-RN yesterday and got an 84 composite (80 math, 88 reading) and have no idea if there's any hope. I understand it's a point system but not sure if the NET-RN would count more than the prereq grades. I have an A on my prereq computer course from last semester and am making A's so far in the other two prereq classes I'm taking this semester.

I need to take my test results over to the nursing department, fill out the application, get my transcripts sent to them, find out something about financial aid, etc. The deadline on financial aid is closing in but how can you apply for financial aid for attending the nursing program when it's very competitive and the odds are you won't even get into it?

also what were your gpa's

Congrats to you guys that got in. I am happy that all went well for you. To fran86, it depends what the appliant pool is for that year. A good GPA to have is like around 3.8 or so but I can not guarantee that you would get in with that because there are some years when 4.0's rule it really just depends honestly.Good luck with everything:)

I really don't know actually...I was completing my bachelor's at UTA when I decided to pursue nursing too. There I was somewhere between a 3.7 and 3.8 but that's with all my communication classes.
