What do you enjoy least about your job?

I'm only a manager if you squint (technically I'm a "supervisor"), but I basically have the job in all but title (and pay).
What I like most: troubleshooting problems. When the poo hits the fan, that's when I'm at my best. I love trying to fix issues.
What I like least: having difficult conversations with staff. Usually it's about performance issues. I'm hoping it will get easier with time.

What I like best about management, working with people to create effective teams and solving problems.
What I like least about management, being asked to require ridiculous things from staff by upper management who have no idea about bedside nursing demands, dealing with stupid people who enjoy conflict and gossip, not having enough staff.
What I like most: working with my staff and creating a pleasant work environment in which in turn creates higher productivity.
What I like the least: having difficult conversations with staff members. Adults know right from wrong. As a manager, I have had to counsel and write my staff up for things that I would not expect from responsible adults. It's all part of my position of course, but it would be easier if everyone would just do their jobs!!
