Telephone Nurse

Hi-

I am a new grad (with a license!) looking for a job. Right now I have applied for several acute care jobs and am coming up dry as far as responses but I keep trying. Truthfully though with 2 children at home and a husband that travels, it would be better for me to not have a job like that until my youngest goes to school next year. Childcare will become an issue with no family around. I obviously want/ need to do something and am looking for alternatives in the mean time. I have heard of telephone nurses for triage or follow up purposes and have also heard that some will train. Of course though I can't find any information in my area for opportunities such as this. Des anyone have any insight or perhaps any advice on roads to pursue at this point?
