Hi. I'm a student applying for a job as a unit clerk on the telemetry floor. The person hiring asked how much i know about medical terminology when she suggesred i apply for the spot. I don't know exactly what she means. What types of terminology and could anyone suggest a book i should look for to brush up on? Thanks!

Medical terminology is the 'language' of health care. It is part of the required knowledge base for all licensed healthcare professions as well as anyone who is responsible for managing healthcare information. It is a standard curriculum - lots of resources and references are available.
So terminology (full words) as opposed to codes?
