  1. So terminology (full words) as opposed to codes?
  2. Hi. I'm a student applying for a job as a unit clerk on the telemetry floor. The person hiring asked how much i know about medical terminology when she suggesred i apply for the spot. I don't know exactly what she means. What types of terminology and could anyone suggest a book i should look for to brush up on? Thanks!
  3. Hi, I've been staring at posts for 2 days wondering if I have the nerve for nursing school and the profession. I am in my late 30s and never found anything I clicked with. I played music in my 20s and started undercapitalized businesses in my 30s before realizing I was doing things wrong and needed a solid career prior to trying all of the "big" ideas that I may or may not still pursue, but not without a good foundation. I love helping people and taken individually, no aspect of nursing school or the profession seems overwhelming, but it all seems challenging and as a whole, seems really intimidating. Part of me says that the character building aspects of it all would be reason enough to charge at it, part of me wonders if I'm plowing into something else I'm not going to be able to achieve... ?? Anybody?
