Telemedicine for NPs

Does anyone know of a Telemedicine group that hires NPs? Specifically looking for remote (from home) options. I know they exist for doctors (doctors on demand, etc), but haven't had luck finding anything similar with NP employees.

Thanks!

I do remote consults in one of my positions. Which state do you live in?

Hi Designer NP,

I'm a bit of an interesting case. I live abroad (currently England) and move every 2-3 years due to my spouses career. I hold a VA license and practiced there in the past. Occasionally, we will land back in DC/VA for a few years at a time. I know some physician spouses in my situation who have worked remotely (from abroad) in virtual medicine, so I'm exploring trying to figure out if there may be a similar option for me as a NP. It would be ideal as a career I could take with me from place to place. I know many groups require you to reside in the state or attend onsite clinic periodically, which is unfortunately not an option in this case!

I appreciate your reply!

Hi OUNurse! Glad you asked :) I joined allnurses because I'm looking for NPs that are interested in working 100% remote. Our practice is in New York, but we'll be expanding to other states soon, including DMV since I have personal roots there.

It would be great to talk and see if we can arrange something. I'm not sure if our NPs can work internationally, but it's something I could look into.

Please

Hi Designer - I'd be curious to hear about your remote position. We just getting our remote practice stood up, and it's always good to hear how others are doing it.

Hi OU Nurse. My company is based out of Texas. I don't know how the international aspect would work. We don't have any contracts in the VA/DC area.

Bstacy- the remote NPs work out of an office in whatever city they live and do the consults from there. I would love to do it from home, but that's not being offered since we just started a couple of months ago. I would also love for it to be more of a full-time position. Right now I do this per diem maybe once or twice a month.
