TEAS vs NCLEX easiness

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Which of the two are easier? I have passed the TEAS before in the past but didn't know which institution to go to, so I would like to know which test is easier please.

I haven't taken the NCLEX yet, but the TEAS is definitely easier! I think most of the TEAS exam is at a 7th or 8th grade level (like in English and Math). The NCLEX is pass/fail (except you do know how many questions it gave you - I think it ranges from 75 to 265 questions) whereas on the TEAS everyone is trying to get the highest score possible to increase their chances of getting into a nursing school. You take the NCLEX after you pass nursing school. So while it's harder, you have been preparing for it all throughout nursing school. Focus on learning and understanding the material in nursing school and you should be able to pass the NCLEX.

Specializes in ICU.

Are you sure you mean NCLEX and HESI? The TEAS and HESI are entrance exams and basic knowledge tests; the NCLEX on the other hand is taken after you complete nursing school.

Thanks. I didn't mean HESI.

I actually meant to ask TEAS vs

National League for Nursing Pre-Admission Examination (NLN PAX) RN. Which is easier?
