Hello Everyone!
Okay so I'm freaking out :/ I have the ATI PACKAGE With the online assessments & assessments within the book. I have studied the material and went through every page faithfully & do well on the assessments in the book. I just took my first assessment Online ( version a) and totally BOMBED it 54.7 %. I feel like I had the material down packed but the science and reading was my worse area! The science was completely NOTHING near what was in the Assesments in the book. HELP NEED ADVIce. I test January 11th

I have also heard that the materials they provide are not the best. Try different study manuals. If you have a friend that has passed it you could ask to borrow theirs or ask advice on how they studied.

I just took the TEAS V today. I received an 85%, which is in the 95th percentile in the nation. For the past month, I have been going over the ATI study manual and taking notes on what I did not know. I thought that as far as the reading, math, and english sections went, it was pretty much exactly like the study manual. I knew all of the information well by today, so I found those sections to be quite easy. I'm not a 4.0 student either--I'm a "B average" student, you could say.
As for the science section...The difficulty of the questions is hard to measure. I studied all of the information very well in the manual, but on the 1st online practice test I took, I got ~50%. I went back through my study guides and really tried to grasp the information beyond just memorizing definitions and such. Some questions you will know if you simply memorize the information. Truly understanding the information is very helpful though. If you understand it, you should do well. I spent many hours taking notes on the science section, but I probably could have understood it better, which is reflected in my score. Some questions I really thought came out of nowhere too and weren't exactly in the manual, but my previous knowledge from my science classes helped me figure it out. These also could have been the unscored questions, who knows...
My questions seemed to lean more toward biology and chemistry, and then anatomy/physiology thirdly.
I personally thought the online practice tests (and the study manual tests, I believe) were just slightly harder than the real test. The questions are formatted the same way, but the content was slightly easier on the real test. My real scores were a lot higher than my practice scores.
Hope this helps!! Don't stress over it. Staying calm and having a positive attitude really does help!

Thank you so much for this information. I take the TEASV tomorrow and I have prepared like maddie. I hope to do well. However, it will be what it is going to be. My difficulty will be to breatheeee and if I come across a question I don't know just analyze it answer best I can and tell myself this is the question they don't score....it is so much in the calmness....so take it easy and let the positive energy surround you..we have no control of the material just the way in which we approach it. Good luck to all.
