TEAS V before A&P I, II

Published

I plan to study for the TEAS this summer and then take the exam in early September. I don't take A&P I or II until next school year (fall and then winter quarters), but I will be taking micro this spring. If anyone has taken the TEAS prior to A&P, I'd love to hear what your experience was like.

Well, I took A&PI prior, but there really aren't many APHY questions in the Science section. I want to say maybe 5 total?

You can probably get by without taking the classes first (but they are helpful).

My suggestion is to purchase the ATI study manual and review what it has because it covers everything. Also, it doesn't get super detailed about some areas so if you're confused about anything, Khan Academy is a great resource.

Good luck!

Thanks! I plan to purchase the ATI study guide, perhaps along with a book or two off Amazon with TEAS study tips.

There were only a handful of anatomy questions on my test as well. There were a ton of chemistry and physical science question so if you have the choice to take a chemistry class beforehand, I would.

I had very few questions of A&P on my test, and they were all very basic and you can find them in the TEAS V manual!
