ok i am scheduled to take the teas test may 12th and i am soooo nervous. to get into the RN nursing program i need to score
50% in math, 55% science 70% English and 75% reading i have the study guide but i just get so confused
Also if anyone has taken the test 2 times is it true its the exact same thing both times?

Both of mine were the exact same. I took them about 9 months apart.
really? i hope they all are cuz im pretty good at remembering everything so if i do bad the first time i can just take it again lol
Unless you get a super great score on the first try, I'd take it as many times as they'll let you. Even if you do worse, it'll be your best score that is used.
My worst area was Science-chemical science to be exact. I bought the study guide and the science questions were way harder than the acutal test. Also, I bought an online practice test and did much worse on it than I did at the school.
My biggest help was what I learned during my pre-reqs. I re-took the TEAS after finishing all my pre and co-reqs and did much better.
yea i bought the guide and a practice test and i did really good in math and reading but i did pretty bas in science and english which i need to get a 55% and 70% in and we can only take it 2 times which sucks
so if the actual test is easier than the practice test then ill hopefully be ok

What exactly is the TEAS test? Is it specific to your RN program or something all RN programs require now? We didn't have any kind of such test when I attended nsg school 23 years ago.
its a stupid competency test just to mesaure how much you know and pretty much all nursing programs require it now
They require it regardless of other college degrees one has?

If you are applying for an LPN or ADN program, TEAS nad NET are required even if you have a Ph.D. No ifs, ands, or buts.
ok so to get into the lpn program i need to get a composite score of 60 which i think i can do. So if i get into the lpn program and complete it do you think i would have to take the test to transfer into the rn program?
