Hi. I took the TEAS V today and I can say that's its much easier than you would think, except for the Science, which is truly all over the place. However, going through several posts about the science section allowed me to be more confident on that section. I can say that I even overstudied. There were a few random sections that I just had to make an educated guess. But for the most part, I was able to use knowledge from my prereq and notes from this forum. Here is what I remember because it's all starting to become a blur...lol:

Reading: Be sure to read very carefully because one word in the question stem or answers can make a huge difference in meaning. Other than that, you should have ample time left to recheck answers.

Math: I nearly ran out of time here. I was spooked out the most by the algebra word problems. Just study the study guide and you will be fine

English: Its very easy to trip up here because even when you say it back to yourself, it can sound right. Again, the study guide(and even better- the online practice tests)are very similar to the test.

Online Practice Tests: Practice A was much easier compared to B but the actual test was on par with the practice assessments in regards to reading and english. The science on the online practice made me study much more than I needed to but it covered things that weren't in the book. So I would say that the actual science is more on par with the book, just study the book in more detail using the Web or another nursing study guide. I had liked Kaplan but I found the McGraw Hill somewhat useful as well.

I don't know my score yet...

Good luck!

It sounds like we had the SAME version of the test! Excellent jog of your memory! Glad you did well...

Well, I hope I did well! I won't know until Wednesday. I don't know if I had version A or B. When did you take it? If you don't mind sharing, what was your score?
