TEAS score acceptance at EVCC

Published

I am applying for winter 2015 at Everett community and wanted to know the average teas score of people getting in. I got an 85.3 on my teas and am super nervous about getting in because I didn't have the highest gpa.

I am almost done with 2nd quarter in the program. It took me a couple of tries to get it, but it is so worth it! Everett has been a wonderful program so far and the instructors are amazing. I am so glad I stuck it out and kept at it to get in this program. If you want this, don't give up. Sometimes things happen at certain times for a reason. I know for me it has been the case and I am grateful to have the cohort I have and be where I am in the process. Good luck.. and to those that got their acceptance letters.. congrats! See you next quarter!

I am also starting in the Winter 2015, my Teas score was 81.3. I am posting my score here because I think I was at the low end of the spectrum for acceptance, and I want to encourage Kkay to keep trying. Kkay you must have been very close to making it in. You have come this far and you are only a few points off of my score, which is just a few teas questions to improve on. I hope that you continue to keep applying. Also, look into Skagit, I am not sure if you are working as a CNA but, they have a point system and your Teas score could get you some high points with them. Best Regards

Thanks CEF73, CNA. That makes me feel a little better at least knowing that I was close. I applied for Spring so I should be finding out soon. I'm crossing my fingers. I really want to go to Everett.

I ran into a classmate who got into EvCC winter with TEAS score of 80. So we were very close kkay! I have a good feeling for spring. WE CAN DO THIS! #79.3club! :)

Modonn05: I really hope we both get in! Are you going to retake the TEAS? I really wish that I could but I would also be nervous about scoring lower. Any idea when the test invite letters are going out?

Got my test invite letter today. The date for the test is Jan.29th so we should know if we got in by the second week of Feb. I'm really crossing my fingers this time. I need this so bad!

4th quarter nursing student here, I know of people who got in with high 70's on the TEAS. It really depends on the grade distribution for each quarter applicants. I have never heard of the UW Bothell students, this could be because of the Bridge program being offered at Everett (Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-to-BSN) - UW Bothell), but that has nothing to do with pre-nursing students. As far as I know.. They take the top 40 students on the TEAS with the best scores. They used to keep 2 spots open for LPN students, but they have stopped doing this. Good luck you guys and keep applying. There is a girl in my class who got in on her 5th attempt. Keep going!
