Hi everyone..I had a question about interpreting the TEAS report. Does the Percentile Rank-Program refer to ONLY my school OR refers to students applying to an ADN program at a collection of schools?
Thanks in advance!

it's students applying at a collection of schools.

The TEAS is a scam in my opinion. Just another way to make more money off students. Most 4 year BSN programs don't require it. Mostly it is the 2 year RN programs that demand them because the academic requirements are lower than higher institutions so they use the TEAS to weed out applicants. If you are a good student with a high GPA and time I suggest aim for the BSN. If you don't get in you still have all the requirements to enter a 2 year program.

The only schools that require TEAS in my area are 2 BSN programs. Almost all the ADN programs and a few other BSNs all do HESI. (1 ADN does ACT)

Did you have a bad experience with the TEAS?
No I passed it the first time with an 82 but I got denied. Then they changed to the TEAS V and I have to take it again. Well only if I don't get accepted to USF, they don't require a TEAS test at the University of South Florida. But the GPA requirements are pretty steep. I'm at 3.59 and I am still sweating bullets hoping to get in.
Thanks for clearing that up for me!

Hi!
I am new to this forum, and hoping someone can help me :)
I just took the TEAS V and I don't feel that I did that wonderful. I did get the practice test, and booklet. The odd thing was I usually get a 90 and above on reading, and I did in the practice tests, but somehow on the test I just got too nervous and messed myself up. So the subjects I thought would be really high to compensate for my weaker ones, ended up being average. However, my percentile rank for national is still high at 77, and my rank for my program (LPN) is at 92???
I thought they had to be just counting my school or my area, because how could a 73 be in the 92 percentile. I see that the average for my program is now at 55%, but still this is all very confusing. It also says that I ranked 94 nationally in science with a adjusted individual score of 77.1%. So I don't think it's a mistake or anything. I am just trying to figure out if I stand a good chance getting in. It would make more sense if the 92 rank was out of a specific area or school, rather than LPNs all over the country.
Here are my results
Adjusted Individual Total Score 73.3%
Mean National- 63.3%
Mean Program- 55.5%
Percentile Rank-National 77
Percentile Rank-Program 92
Thank you! :)
