Hello Everyone
My question is : Is there a difference between the TEAS TEST and the NURSING ENTRANCE EXAM. I am a prenursing student here in NC, and was given a book to study however I am not sure if this is what I need. Can someone give me some feedback.
Thank you

My experience has been that different schools require different exams. I had to take the NLN but some of the other schools I looked at wanted the TEAS. It's unfortunate that there is no standard test across the board, but the best you can do is research which school requires what and decide how many prep books you're willing to buy.

I took the NET as well. The TEAS is different, as it is longer, including Science, as well as the Math and Reading the NET requires. I know people that have done not so great on both and passed both. For me, I would take the NET, if I had the option, but if you have to take the TEAS, make sure you get the book and study the science...I heard that was the worst part of the test.
