Hi when is a good time to take the Teas Entrance Exam prior to applying to a program?? How long in and advance and would you apply first the. Take the exam or after?

Which programs are you looking into? My program requires that we apply first and then after our application is processed we're scheduled to take the TEAS if we haven't previously taken it.

BSN .. Adelphi university . And schools that require Teas exam most of them are not clear on whether we need to apply first or if we pass the test then we apply

The schools I am applying to use your TEAS score as part of the criteria on whether they'll accept you, so I had to do it before applying. In my opinion, the science portion of the test mostly came from AP 2, so if you can, I'd suggest getting through that, if not most of your science classes, prior to taking the TEAS.

Thank you Shasta13 I'm just feeling a bit lost . I've taken all of my pre-reqs . I basically just need to take the Entrance exam , pass it and get accepted into a program. I'm having another issue with transcripts, I can't my official one right now . Hopefully they accept unofficial ones .

If you need the TEAS score for your application and since you've completed pre-reqs, then take it so that you have enough time to retake it if needed prior to the application deadline. I think you have to wait 30 days before retaking the TEAS.

I needed to take mine before I applied because they wanted my test scores up front. I suggest you do that to prepare yourself.
