TEAS & HESI

Published

Hello

Has anybody taken both the TEAS test and HESI? If so can you please tell me if they are similar? I need to take both and am not sure if I have enough time to study both books. Thanks :D

Good Luck! I have just taken the Teas but our scores didn't matter so i didn't study......one thing i will tell you is the ATI test adminstrator said that the science test scores are the best indicators if someone will be sucessful in nursing school. (and very little of it is a & p stuff) Good luck!

Thanks a lot for the science portion is it mainly biology like terms (example: ribosomes?) or is there any physics?

no there are several portions. ... earth science, chemistry, anatomy. physics ect..... its not horrible but i wish i had reviewed it

I just took the TEAS test a week or so ago and the HESI about 8-9 months ago.

TEAS was more science than HESI. Did have some physics, biology, A&P, Chemistry, etc. I did well on the HESI (@95% overall) and did not think I did as well on TEAS, but to my surprise I did quite well with 2 hours prep. It was enough to be accepted to South University BSN program 21 months. Don't worry so much...

Alright thanks so much for the help did you prepare for both together or separate?

The best advice I can give on taking the TEAS & HESI is to glue your eyeballs and slap your brain to http://www.testprepreview.com/teas_practice.htm. It helped me out tremendously and still do. :)
