Teachers who come to school sick!!!!

I had a teacher ask me to listen for her class yesterday while she went and called to make a doctor's app. for her and her oldest child. He had run fever for 3 days and this was day6 of fever and swollen glands for her. She came back in this morning and told me that the doctor said she had FLU!! She then proceeds to tell me he didn't give her anything since she was already over the worst of it. Why do you come to school sick????? This is one of the same teachers that if anyone even looks sick she won't let them in her room until I clear them, because she has a 2 year old at home who she doesn't want to contaminate. Now we will have 3 grades 10-12 that will probably come down with it and state graduation exam is next week.

I hear ya, I get them all the time too! I think some secretly think I'm their doctor in disguise. We get only 10 days off for sick/personal days a year, so I guess they want to save it for a rainy day.
