I have a master's in nursing and I am hoping that will help make me look attractive as a candidate, I just hope they won't say why did you do that MSN first instead of pursuing a CRNA program master. Are any of the current applicants MSN already and what do you think? I have applied to both programs and wanted to know if anyone has interviewed yet this spring for the fall 04 class? can anyone give any comparison of the interview process for both schools? Also how much does the interview count? I get really nervous for oral presentations and I am fearful the questions will stump me any pointers would be appreciated.

I personally did not have a masters degree before applying to TWU, but to answer the question regarding how much the interview counts, from what I understand, that is by far the largest determinant whether you get accepted or not. Good luck with the process!

Congradulations on your MSN! My wife has her MSN and I know it was no easy task (you should be proud). Unfortunatly, the interview counts for a large portion of the application process and I wish I had the quick guide you were looking for. I did interview at both TWU and TCU and found both to be equally challenging and fair. Both schools will give you a quality education. I don't know of any applicant, student, or CRNA who was succesful in answering ALL of the questions in the interview. Keep your poise-its okay- nobody is really supposed to know all the answers. Brush up on CCRN material and let your experience work for you. Good luck!
