  1. Congradulations on your acceptance! I have to agree with everyone else, HAVE FUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!! I am a second semester RRNA student at TCU and did not understand the time comitment -lets just say I grossly underestimated it. You can PM me if you have any specific question.
  2. WOW! 8+ years of Neuro Trauma-I bet you have some interesting stories! Yes, I would recommend it. Although I do know of several people who got in without taking the exam-they all admited to at least studying the info for the exam to assist in answering some of the questions for the interview. The cardiac and resp esp! Besides, it would add to your credentials. Good luck
  3. I'm sorry if any of my comments offended in any way. I TOTALLY AGREE with you that preffesionalism is paramount and that we are held to higher standard.
  4. Congradulations on your MSN! My wife has her MSN and I know it was no easy task (you should be proud). Unfortunatly, the interview counts for a large portion of the application process and I wish I had the quick guide you were looking for. I did interview at both TWU and TCU and found both to be equally challenging and fair. Both schools will give you a quality education. I don't know of any applicant, student, or CRNA who was succesful in answering ALL of the questions in the interview. Keep your poise-its okay- nobody is really supposed to know all the answers. Brush up on CCRN material and let your experience work for you. Good luck!
  5. matt, your grasp of the situation is far less than fair. forming opinions on rumors can be a dangerous game. i am a tcu rrna student and know for a fact that the anatomy test scores were less favorable than your rumor scores (please talk with your informant). also matt, please understand tcu is not easy by any means. if it is easy then someone surely forgot to tell me. aynyway, nothing in life worth having should come easy. i do not have a basis to compare the academic rigors of the two different schools since i have never attended another school of nurse anesthesia. so, i shall refrain from stating any rumors about your school to ensure that i do not spread false facts. however, anyone having the privelage of receiving an acceptance letter to both tcu/twu can be assured a well rounded and solid education.
