TCU CRNA program for January 2017

Published

Hello all,

I am working on submitting my application for the 2017 CRNA program at TCU. Feel free to post questions, words of encouragement, and any advice you may have as we start this journey. Looking forward to meeting you all!

I got in as well!! So exciting! Add me to the Facebook group please!! Felicia cornwell

My name is Chelsea Barnett on FB (from Houston, TX) if you guys want to add me so I can add you to the FB group. It won't let me add the link to the group because it has to be approved by a moderator first.

Hey TCU class! I was just accepted as well. I never imagined I'd actually get to choose where I go to CRNA school, I thought I'd be lucky to convince just one admissions committee into letting me in! I thoroughly enjoyed my TCU interview experience. I really feel like TCU will have my back no matter what, and the students I talked to had zero complaints. Strange question considering how good the interview experience was, but does anyone else now get the pleasure of deciding which program to go to? I have to decide between Rush and TCU. Now that the choice needs to be made, the lines have become blurred.

I'm in too!! I will be in Baton Rouge (not sure how I ended up there seeing as how it wasn't even on my top 5 choices for clinicals, but oh well). I can't wait to meet you all! Congratulations everyone! :)

congrats to every one. I got accepted too. The Interview experience was really laid back as opposed to other schools. I've never heard any complaints about TCU.

@HornedFrogRN Thanks for your candid reply. I do feel the schooling gets sugar-coated in the honeymoon phase of new-acceptance, probably. This is definitely not an easy program, but hopefully, the rewards are great and is worth it. Good luck to all us newbies.

Hi everybody! I am very interested in TCU's CRNA program. What I have read online has really impressed me. I would love to apply this year. My question is - would I be a competitive candidate?

working on a chemistry class now to hopefully bump my gpa up a bit (3.3 cumulative) I like that the program takes 55-65 a year. Can anyone guess how many apply? What is the interview process like? And finally, website states early applications are accepted. How early is early? Ideally I would wait until May when my chemistry class is finished to put final application in

Thanks everyone

I a man currently in an ADN program. As soon as I finish I plan to start my rn-bsn at Texas Tech asap. My goal is to become a CRNA and I would love to attend the program at TCU. Any tips on what I should start doing now to prepare myself to be a qualified candidate?
