I too have been searching for past forums. I’m moving from Alabama, so I’m nervous that I won’t get selected due to my living out of state for now. I applied to the Traditional BSN program, but I have a previous degree. I just want to get accepted either way. My HESI was pretty good, but I don’t think that my 3.0 is competitive at all. I’ve heard that the TCU waiting period is the longest waiting period lol. But, good luck everyone! I’ve applied to different programs in the area.

Wow congrats!!! So happy for you!!!! I’m hoping to get mine soon!! Did you get an email or did you get it in the mail?

Hi Everyone!
I was browsing through past forums and noticed no one had posted one for this years Texas Christian University BSN applications. I thought it would be a good idea to start a forum where we can all talk and update each other throughout this process. I applied to the accelerated program although I do not have a past degree. My GPA is a 3.82 although Nursing Cas calculated it as a 3.78. My HESI sadly is my biggest weakness :( I got a 94 for math and 88 for Reading but my overall score was a 79.6 due to my A&P section. Hopefully that score won't stop me from getting in since TCU is my top choice at this moment. I also have my Religion requirement, which I won't take unless I get in, and my pathophysiology class still left to take. I hope there are other people who applied and will respond, cause I would love to get to know other people in the same boat as me. Also anyone have any advice on how they are trying to get through this long waiting process, I feel like I'm already getting too nervous since the application only closed a little over a week ago?
