Hi Everyone!
I was browsing through past forums and noticed no one had posted one for this years Texas Christian University BSN applications. I thought it would be a good idea to start a forum where we can all talk and update each other throughout this process. I applied to the accelerated program although I do not have a past degree. My GPA is a 3.82 although Nursing Cas calculated it as a 3.78. My HESI sadly is my biggest weakness :( I got a 94 for math and 88 for Reading but my overall score was a 79.6 due to my A&P section. Hopefully that score won't stop me from getting in since TCU is my top choice at this moment. I also have my Religion requirement, which I won't take unless I get in, and my pathophysiology class still left to take. I hope there are other people who applied and will respond, cause I would love to get to know other people in the same boat as me. Also anyone have any advice on how they are trying to get through this long waiting process, I feel like I'm already getting too nervous since the application only closed a little over a week ago?
Hi, a little late to this page but I am planning on applying for the accelerated BSN program at TCU in the Fall of 2021. I would love to connect with you CRNA - hopeful, I have been DESPERATELY trying to find someone who is doing (or has done) this program at TCU. I did try direct messaging you but was unable to- new to this website!
Hello there! I am currently a freshman TCU transfer student. (transferred after 1st semester). Due to transferring to TCU, I was told that my only option would be to graduate a semester late with the nursing program. I did not like this idea, and wanted to graduate on time if not early! I also do not want to pay for an extra semester's tuition. I am considering applying for the accelerated program to begin Fall 2021. I hear that the accelerated program is quite competitive so I feel this may be a risky choice. TCU only allows to apply for ONE program: so I need to decide whether I should keep it safe and graduate a semester late OR take the risk and apply to accelerated to finish a semester early. I am a TCU student and meet the requirements.. would that give me an advantage? What should I do?
