TCC / Weatherford College Applicants

Hi, I'm applying for the fall 2010 entry, anyone else out there. Currently I have 20 points for weatherford. But I plan on retaking it next week. What about you? How many points do you have?

Hey :) I applied to both Weatherford and TCC also. Have you talked to anyone about when they're sending out letters from TCC? I'm on the alternate list at Weatherford and am going crazy waiting for the letter from TCC. Hoping maybe they send them today... lol, I've been stalking the mailman lately, it's awful!

Allikat, what was your overall GPA and how did you do in the 4 sciences, if you don't mind me asking? I am curious to know what I might be up against when I apply in the Fall. And how well did you do on the TEAS? What was it like?

Well honestly I was really worried about getting into the program. I have an overall GPA of 3.4. As far as the sciences go I got A's in everything but A&P1, in which I got a B. For TEAS I got a 95 on reading, 83 on math, 85 on english, and a 64 on science. Just make sure when you take your TEAS you study on the earth science, I had a bunch of questions on rocks and random earth science that I haven't seen since like 8th grade. Make sure to study the math too because you can't use a calculator at all, doing it all by hand takes time! The english and reading sections are fairly easy.

Thanks!! And congratulations to you on getting in!! I hope you can rest easy this summer knowing that you will be starting Nursing School in August!!!! Did you take either of the "bonus" classes TCC offers? I am going to apply without them, but I will be taking them in the Fall while I wait on pins and needles to see if I get in.
