Tattoos all over!

hi i'm a nursing student.

i have tattoos all over my arms (just about down to my wrists). do nurses have to cover up their tats while working?

Specializes in Trauma ICU, Peds ICU.

It depends on the hospital.

Definitely just depends on where you work. I've seen people who've had to cover their tattoos up with long sleeve shirts, but I've also seen nurses in the Emergency Room with 2 full sleeves.
