Tattoo's....quick ?

Yes. It scares people coming out of anesthesia.

Yes, because many "customers" consider it to be tacky and/or scary

Yes (and it's the primary healthcare employer in the entire area).

I work for the US Army and they don't - some nurses and techs/medics have full sleeves to the wrist. You can't see it when they're in uniform, but when they're in scrubs you certainly can. A lot of people here also have them on the nape of the neck and one here (fairly high-ranking enlisted) has a big one on the side of his neck that you can see even in ACU's.

Yes. And piercings must be covered or removed.

nope, but then again they're fairly easy going about things like tatts, and hair colour. Piercings and jewellery are a different story but that's due to WH&S

What's WH&S?

yes,..and piercings only one per each ear all others are covered.

No, although all 4 of mine are in spots where my scrubs cover them..I'm thinking of a fifth one on the nape of my neck(a small one).

Nope, as along as their not offensive, they can hang out. Really..who doesnt have a tattoo nowadays? :D LOL. (yes i know the next 25 posts will be from people stating they dont have a tattoo.)

Well, I don't have one, but I do want one :D I'm getting it in 2010 come hell or high water.

And to answer the OP...same as Crux1024: if they're not offensive, my workplace doesn't care.
