Hello,

Just wanted to know is anyone on the board attending Tarrant County Community College ADN Program?, If so, what is it like? Instructors and classes? I'm asking because I'm thinking about applying there for the Spring 2005.

-Thanks in Advance:)

Hey Texspadequeen921,

After CHEM will you be finished with all your pre-reqs and I'm asking because that is the last class I have to take, Is there a good chance I can get in without that one class? What do you think? I spoke with Alice (She is one of the admissions staff) and she is getting back to me about the equivalent CHEM class I can take at Dallas Community College. Also, when are their Information sessions?, Do they have those?

I know you don't work there but any info that you have will be greatly appreciated!

-Thanks in advance:)

Since Im only going to TCC for the pre classes and not nursing school, Im not 100% sure of this, but I think you need to have chem completed prior to admission.:)

Chem 1406 is definitely required before acceptance into the program. In fact, from my experience up to this point, it would be extremely difficult to get in without all of your sciences completed. The competition is fierce so the more you have finished the better your chances. Good luck!!

Even if chem was not required prior to admission to nursing school which it is, you wouldnt want to take that with anything but it's own lonesome. I am in 1406 now and it is kickin my &^&... But the sun is starting to shine my last day is 8/19....:p

Gosh, taking a science in the summer must be pure h$ll!! I had a hard enough time with chem during a full semester. In fact, I made a stinkin "C" the first time I took it. I will sadly be retaking it this fall.:crying2: Good luck!! Hang in there, it's almost over!!:p
