Okay, I cannot take it anymore. I am so ready to get into school but it seems so far away. Anybody else out there planning to apply for fall 2017? Anybody else feeling like time is dragging? What prerequisites do yall have done and what do you have left? I am currently in micro which is all I need to apply.
Hi! I'm an alternate for the RN program but got into the LVN. Hopefully a spot will open for me in RN and that way my spot could open for you in LVN. My goal is to become an RN too but financially I can take what I can get for now also. Good luck to you! There is a Facebook group for the LVN program too.

I hope you get into the RN program and a spot opens up for me! I did get accepted into weatherford's LVN but I would much rather go to TCC just because it's a lot closer for me. Good luck to us both!
I know this is off topic, Im still taking my science classes right now. What do you guys think I need to make in those class and the HESI to take a chance. Im 24 yo and only moved to US for 3 years. English is not my mother language. Do you think I should give up and find another major? Because I tried really hard and I got a C in AP 1 and I will have a B in Micro. Im in NE campus which professors you guys would recommend?
Never give up! There have been others before you with worse grades and situations, so know you are def. not the first or alone for that matter. I went to lvn school first and was accepted alt for the fast track and finally got the official acceptance. Although, it has been a tough and stressful ride at times, I'm glad I have not given up! I live in dallas and didnt take any classes thru tarrant county, so its possible. I had a low 80s hesi score with 2 bs and 1 a in my sciences. Good luck future nurse!

Thank you Megan. I do plan to continue school and go back for my BSN. The LVN option is currently the best route for my family and I as my husband is our only main income and I need to start working asap. I work at a clinic right now and have been offered a position as a LVN once finished. They are really flexible so I figured I can start working as a LVN and go back to school too.
