Welcome! I thought it was time to start a new thread for TCC fall 2013 applicants and future hopefuls. I've followed the past 2 threads for TCC and there are at least a handful of us finishing up pre-requisites this summer and fall.

Has anyone applied for the Paramedic/LVN to RN bridge program for this fall? Since that first class starts in May, any idea when they will get the acceptance letters out to us? I think they said they were supposed to accept 10 to that program, but there isn't a lot of time to sign up for that first course in the first Maymester so that we can take Mental health the second Maymester. I guess I will be calling on Monday to see when they expect our letters to go out.

Did you hear anything about when they would be sending out letters?

I feel like every program has sent out letters except TCC and UTA. I just want to know already. :(

I called and talked to one woman about the paramedic/LPN bridge and she said we should know by this Monday. I think we know sooner because it's a tiered program. They'll start us out as if we were in the Spring 2013 lineup instead of the fall, but I think they mentioned that if we don't get into the bridge, we'll still be in the running for the fall 2013 regular classes. So hopefully I'll have a chance with either one. Paramedic of 12 years with 4.0 science and 93% on Hesi. Good luck everyone!

FYI TCC is changing the dress code for Fall 2013 to teal tops, teal bottoms, white or black shoes. Good luck to all on acceptance to the program.[/quote']

Yeah! That is fabulous news. I was really not looking forward to white tops or white shoes.

I am taking that same class on the 15th. It is the healthcare provider class. I already have mine but it expires in July but it was cheaper to retake the initial class than to pay $45 for a renewal 2 hr class. I will see you there kristajaye :)

Navarro doesn't know anything yet either. I found this thread because I was wondering if we were the only ones that didn't know yet. Our deadline to apply was Feb. 1st and they told us that it would be May.

Ahh, just got the acceptance letter for the paramedic/LVN bridge program starting this fall! Yeah! Was sent out at 5:28...bit my nails and stared at my inbox since 4:40. Good luck guys!
