So I think we are well into the application period so, surely it is time to start up this board. I can not wait until we hear back in May. Trying to keep very busy while waiting. Good luck to everyone applying!! Hopefully we can keep each other company here and celebrate our successes!!

I hope so, that's the first time they haven't answered. So maybe that's good news?

Some one on the tcc nursing website said they are going to release them at 5pm hopefully and it's because they are accepting 10 more students so now it's 140 instead of 130..... I can't take this anymore I have no more nerves hahahaha what is nervousness??!! Just hope we all get accepted!!!! God willing!!!

Hey everyone I have an update I wanted to share with you all!!!!! Very exciting news!!SOOOO....per the head nursing director that someone spoke to the reason they have not sent out the notifications yet is because they are accepting 10 EXTRA students. They were origanially taking 130 now they are taking 140!!! So they are deciding the extra 10 but they do hope to have our emails out by 5pm today!!! GOOOODD LUCK EVERYONE!! AHHHH!!!!

Just got off the phone they said the emails will go out today but probably not until 5 or a little after 5!!

I hope this isn't an excuse. I have to admit it seems a little off to me. I'm not one to be negative but it seems odd. I picture this scenario...

"Well, it's the 12th hour here, but hey guys I think our nursing program can accommodate 10 more students!".

In response...

"Gee, that sounds great, let's get all those apps back out and decide on those 10 people.".

Ummm, wasn't there already an alternate list drawn up? Take 10 off of that and then go down the spread sheet and put 10 additional email addresses in for alternates. Seems like it should be a five minute deal.

I'm hopeful that it will still be today, but this latest news just seems odd!

I am thrilled that 10 more people might get in, but really, I'm confused, why didn't they decide that a week ago or prior to May 1st. I want it to be today, but this makes me scratch my head and wonder what is going on.
