TAMUCC eline BSN Fall 2019

Hi! the application for the upcoming Fall semester is opening soon. Anyone else applying to the BSN e-line program at TAMUCC??

Does anyone know how many people applied?

I got news peeps, I emailed my adviser for the e-line military to ask him for an update. He replied stating that the earliest time they have for the decision making process is next Friday. At least for you guys, I applied for the e-line military so he hopes it is the same time for me?. Do any of you guys know when we have to pay for the summer courses? I don't want to pay until I know for sure I have been accepted into the program.

Thanks for the update! I found this regarding payment due dates for summer courses:

Summer 1 2019 (Online Mini-Term)

09-May-2019

Summer I 2019 (Traditional Term)

28- May-2019

Summer II 2019 (Traditional Term)

Summer 2 2019 (Online Mini-Term)

02-July-2019

I am doing the traditional program for Fall. I assume that both eline and traditional will get acceptance letters around the same time. I heard they won’t be sending out letters until the second week of May...

Whaaaa!!! That’s so long. When was the application due for the traditional?

The second week of May!? Where did you hear this? Did your advisor tell you this? Has anyone else heard anything recently??

I also applied for traditional face-to-face. The application was due Feb 15... I spoke the head adviser last week and she told decisions will be sent out by the end of April.

Honestly, I have a feeling we’ll hear by this Friday. I’m sure they’re going to continue sending out letters through email. Then letters in the mail with all the information for the track will come the following week. I wouldn’t keep bothering advisors with an update because I’m sure they’re getting plenty of email and honestly sometimes they’ll say things just to get you to leave them alone. Reading last years forum some student said their advisor said they’d hear next week and then the next day they all received emails. This semester is the longest they’ve taken to send out letters for the fall. Last semester they made a big mistake and sent letters that accepted everyone who applied to the program. I can see why this semester they’re being a little more cautious. So just be patient. You wouldn’t want to feel the pain a lot of other students felt getting a false acceptance letter thinking it was real only to find out someone made a mistake.

@Topochica I applied in February. Called nursing department on Monday and they had said no later than the second week of May. I had also emailed my advisor yesterday and he had the same answer. Hopefully we hear back sooner though !!

He had also mentioned they will be sending letters via email provided through NursingCas, just to speed up the process.

If they are deciding on May then I really hope they send out emails or an update or something just to let everybody know? It’s so hard to concentrate on anything else until I find out!! I’ve literally been waiting my whole life for this moment❤️
