Hi, again! Okay. Thirty-forty mile radius is what we're looking at (something commute-able). Opinions on the hospitals? Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Oh! Meredith, do you happen to know what the floating policy is at ACH? Where the NICU staff floats, I mean? I've never worked in a dedicated children's hospital before. Thanks!
Hey I sent this once but I did somethnig wrong and it came back. NICU nurses don't float much as they are needed. When they do float they usually come into my unit SI and we take good care of them. We don't give them babies with poblems they are unfamiliar with and we make sure someone is available to give help when needed. Most of the time NICU needs nurses to float to them. St. Pete is a great place to live. We live in the Northwest section and we love it. Large mall is one minute away and a great park is two houses away. We have great neighbors who take care of each other and very little crime. Northeast St. pete is like that as well. If you travel further south some of the neighborhoods get a litte rough but all in all it's a great city to raise kids in. Hope things go well for you...I'll keep you in my prayers.
