Hi everyone, this is the first time I am writing on this page and plan to take my RNC very very soon, any advice or topics or questions that stick out in your heads.
I took a review course and have been answering questions in Williams Obstetrics 22nd edition study guide also I purchased two tests from CCPRNET.COM test site which gave me test 2007 and test 2009 versions....
any other help is truely appreciated from one nurse to another.
thank you and I look foward to talking to you all.

HI there. I took and passed the RNC-OB in inpatient obstetrics studying Perinatal Nursing by Kathleen Rice Simpson and Patricia Creehan linked below:

This book really is ALLyou need to study to pass this test, honestly. I found the test VERY doable and not at all difficult. I studied a chapter a night and took the end of chapter tests and did just fine.
Good luck and let us know how you did.
Thanks for the response :)
Okay so you are saying doing the questions really helped you....where any of the questions similar do you think...
i talk to so many other nurses and some say it was the worst test ever....but I also find it depends on your test taking skills...I dont think i panic, well I HOPE I DON'T PANIC, lol!
Any topics stand out in your head also how long ago did you take it?
Thanks jenn

I think you sound prepared. I took it 6 years ago and realized afterwards I had overprepared. If you have a number of years experience then you allready know this stuff. Many people I work with have taken it since then and most of them passed, some took the review class. I think you are right in your statement about test taking skills. Reviewing a practice test helped relieve my anxiety by letting me see basically how questions were worded. Good luck!

Quit worrying....you are prepared. Put down the books and relax before the big day comes. Trust me, I am one who "over-studied" and drove myself nuts doing it. The test is like all other multiple choice tests, you narrow it down and then choose between 2 good options, except one is "more good".
