Taking NCLEX in 1 wk! ... Kaplan test scores!

Hi everyone! I am taking my NCLEX-RN in 1 week on August 25th...ahhhh! I would love some words of encouragement from those who have passed successfully using Kaplan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated too!

Here are my scores thus far (Are they good enough??):

Diagnostic: 55

Readiness: 63

QT1: 67

QT2: 57

QT3: 56

QT4: 51

QT5: 61

I still have to do 6 & 7. I plan on doing 6 tomorrow (8/19/12)...and 7 a few days before the exam.

For the QBank my overall is a 58% and I've done 44% of the questions.

I just took QT6 and got a 64%

Your grades are very similar to mine and I passed even though I had 183 questions. Just remember to slow down, take deep breathes and pray!! You have good grades. Kaplan says 60 on qt 6 and qt7 so you are doing great!!

Hey Nadia :) I am taking my NCLEX the same day as you and I also got a 64 on question trainer 6 yaya :) Im going to do question trainer 7 thursday. What are you doing this week? Im doing content and few questions here and there I just want to get this over with! lol

I watched all the Kaplan videos except the Psych vidoes I just read the chapter in the book.

Hey NadiaMarie - I just took the exam on Monday (8/20) and passed with 75 Q. With Kaplan, I just made sure I read the entire RN course book and exhausted the Q - bank. My Qbank scores fluctuated between 46-72. My overall was 59%. It was maddening, lol. But your scores are good. THE Main thing is to walk in there confident and just give it to God.

Did you thinn kaplan was harder than nclex? I have read the entire course book i dont know if i should keep doing content i test mon

It's hard to say. The exam was very difficult and tricky and I walked out of there feeling like I failed. Kaplan definitely prepares you though.

Did you each pay for q bank only or full course? If I only do q bank do I get vids, too? Or even course book? I did live meeting today with kaplan. I have to call them tomorrow. :)

My nursing school used kaplan so we had to pay for the whole course. The kaplan guarantee is a pretty good deal so I'd recommend it.
