Hi all,

I am taking my NCLEX-PN Wednesday for the first time. I am concerned because I have been using "exam mode" on the Saunders CD (2008 version) and I keep getting 40s and 50s on Pedi/OB and eyes/ears. Is there anyone here that used Saunders, made those low scores on the exam practice, but still passed the NCLEX-PN?

My strengths are (score of 80 and above): Cardiopulmonary, immune, endocrine, neuro, musculoskeletal and integumentary.

I would hate for the "child part" to kill me!

I think you're doing good. Review content on your weakest area and proceed with question in your weakest area to see how far you understand. Wish you all the best in your exam.

From my understanding, EVERYONE scores low on the OB/Peds sections, no matter if you're taking the RN or PN exam! I don't know, it's just something about those sections that makes people get foggy-headed!

With that in mind, I think you're doing just great and continue focusing on just answering questions. Now's the time to get into test-mode!

Also, this year's NCLEX Q-bank does not feature that many OB/Peds questions...if any! So I wouldn't be too worried about that or the eye/ear section. You'd be lucky to get even one question on that topic!

Good luck studying and rock that test!!! :yeah:
