:uhoh3: Well with crossed fingers and toes, I take my NCLEX PN in 24.5 hours and I am already freaking out. I have never taken it before and am very nervous. I have studied everything I can find to study, online, books, cd's you name it, I have used it. Just hope that dang old TEST ANXIETY does not kick in tomorrow. I have already been offered a job, and registered yesterday for the advanced placement program for my RN. Just need to get the NCLEX over with and move on. SCARED!!!:o

Sounds like you've prepared for it, so I'll bet you're good to go. My time is coming soon for the NCLEX, so I feel your pain!

Good luck with the test!

Sending you "good mojo" from GA. I took the NCLEX-PN nearly over four years ago. Make sure you do not read anything into the questions (IIRC, the mock questions were much harder than the actual test questions...). Always remember the ABC's and prioritization. The year I took the test (the focus changes annually, I believe...) the focus was on "teaching". Questions were worded like this: You are a Practical Nurse teaching a group of CNA's about managing a diabetic patient. What statement from the group shows they have understood your teaching. Then the question would list four choices and you had to pick the best one. Much of the "sought after" data was entirely new to me (and I prepared like you did).

My advice: RELAX. Go with your gut instinct. Always check the ABC's and look for "buzz" words like always, never, sometimes, etc. These words are there to see if you think critically. Remember: the NCLEX is an intuitive test which gives you questions based on your correct responses (So...if you are missing questions that are deemed to be advanced, the computer will automatically adjust the level of the question until you're answering them correctly again). If the computer shuts off at 75 questions, do not despair (Also, if the computer goes till 250 questions, do not despair). When the program has determined that you have demonstrated nursing competency - it will automatically shut off.

Make sure you get a good night's rest this evening...and no more studying.

Let us know when you've joined the ranks!

Affectionately in GA...

I dont like it either! Just wondering, my class came to augusta last year for the LPN state convention! It was cool...and we had a lot of fun.

I take my test first thing in the morning, but I have to wait until after 12 on Friday to get my results, needless to say I will probably be bald and have no fingernails left by that time!
