Taking my Nclex pn on feb 05... Help?!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I finished the program last November 02 12 and the school took forever to submit our paperworks to pearsonvue and continental testing thats why my test date is on feb 05 13... Im scared out of my mind and i need advice.,

I did kaplan q-banks and its frustrating coz i am always in the 50% ave correct range... I did saunders too.. I am juggling work and stuying which i know i shouldnt but i could not afford being off work till the week before the exam...

Anyone who just took the nclex pn lately? Any suggestions on what topic the test concentrated on?

Please

Help???

I didn't study at all..but if you feel you need to, then by all means I heard there are free practice exams..I would recommend this because the hardest part of the NCLEX is the type of questions..you need to know how to effectively answer all types of questions..select all that apply..what would you do first..etc. I would also recommend taking the day before off..clear your mind..cramming is actually worse, have fun that day with family or significant other and try to relax. Good luck I'm sure you will pass ;-)

Thank u

Yes pls! I would appreciate it... :) tried messaging u privately but i guess ur not accepting any messages.. I dont wanna post my personal email so can u message me ur email and then ill email u back? Pls

Can someone please email me the study guide for nclex pn? I am using Kaplan, Saunders, exam cram for practice questions. Please and thank you. Staying prayerful & Thanking God, everyday! [email protected]

I am about to take my nclex pn test for the second time and I got very discouraged, now I am determined to study and pass, but I need some help to make sure that I have some good study guides. I have a daughter that just started university and she is doing pre-med and the tuition is very expensive and I need to get a job as a lvn and do my bridge program as well.

Thank you

HI.. I just took my board and i passed.... i had abt 116 questions.... I

i used Kaplan, NCBSN( NCSBN Learning Extension . NCLEX preparation . Continuing Education for Nurses . Nursing Faculty Education).I paid abt $70. for a 5 wks acces to their practice questions .and the saunders PN book. all at the same time.

you have to create quality time to study. They all teach you the same topics that the state boards want , but ask you different topics , and this gives you multiple ideas as to how to deal with the topics.

The most impotant thing i noticed for me is that, You as an individual have to know it your stuff, and have a basic understanding of the topics. the Nclex is not a straight forward Exam. they want you to be able to understand the topics and pick an answer.

Dont be in a hurry to pick an answer.

Do a lot of test/practice questions and believe in your self

Finally, PRAY to God to help you concentrate while you study and on the day of the test.

The Exam in EASY if you know what you are doing.

Good LUCK

Thank u so much.. From which state did u take the exam?

Hi, I graduated from lpn nursing school in Dec 2011. I had to take the nclex pn 3 time before passing it with 85 question, the other two times i had 205 question. Best advice is to think positive and do at least a 100+ question day. I use Suanders comprehensive and Q&A. It also help if you would read the rationale answer even if you get the answer correct.
