Taking NCLEX in less then 24hrs...

I am taking NCLEX tomorrow and it will be my first attempt! I have prepped using UWORLD and lacharity book and I thought both were SO helpful. Please- send prayers and any last minute advise anybody can think of would be amazing.

I am really hoping to pass so I can start my new job that is waiting! I am freaking out a little bit here and pretty much and counting down the seconds until tomorrow. :unsure:

Lots of prayers for you! Uworld really helped me on mine, found out I passed today. The layout of uworld color of the screen and everything looks the same as NCLEX so it's nice that its familiar.

Don't sit there and count how many SATA or alternate format questions you have lol and don't try to figure out if your questions are getting harder or easier. You will drive yourself crazy lol Alternate format doesn't automatically mean harder. My multiple choice questions were the hardest. Had maybe 10 SATA and some were hard, some easy.

Also if your state has quick results I would just wait the 48 hours. Don't do PVT and drive yourself crazy lol just keep busy! It was awesome to wake up to the "PASS" on my quick results. Good luck to you!! Know that you know a lot and what you don't know you can probably figure out! [emoji5]️

Thank you! That is awesome you just passed congrats! I am going to do the quick results for sure! :) What was your over all score on UWORLD? I am praying for 75 questions, did you have to wait the FULL 48hrs for the quick results?

I will keep you in my thoughts for you test on Monday! I swear the NCLEX is more of a mental test to see how well you handle yourself under highly stressful situations more then judging your nursing knowledge ;) Jk! Do well on your exam, soon you will be a RN!

You're welcome! I only ended up doing like 600 questions from uworld because I took a long time to go through rationales. But out of that it was about 55% with the last 3 or 4 tests being around 60%. I ended up with 75 and just felt unsure after, not like I did horrible, but not great. I just tried to keep busy the past 2 days. Yes it did take the full 48 hours for me. But depending on your state too sometimes your license will be posted before then because they may update like Tuesday Thursday or something.

I did the same thing, I read though EVERY single rational and I believe I learned so much doing that! Wow, 75 questions, that is awesome!! :) I am going to try and keep busy this weekend but I know I honestly will make myself sick and sit and check to see if anything is updated every 10 mins lol. My state is very fast in regards to posting on their website, most classmates has their posting within 24hrs. I am only concerned that they tested on weekdays and that they might not post over the weekend :/

I really hope so. I am like physically ill right now thinking about the test tomorrow. I can not wait to have it behind me and OVER with!!! :)

I bet! Just relax the rest of the day! Do something fun because you're going to be more stressed after the exam than now lol so don't think about it!

I just passed in 75 questions using UWorld alone- and I didn't even finish all the questions (1525/1897). I can say with certainty that there were numerous NCLEX questions I wouldn't have known the answer to without UWorld. You sound like you've worked hard, and I am sure you'll knock it out!
