Hi everyone! I'm taking my NCLEX exam this February 13 and I enrolled to Kaplan and my classes will be starting this Jan 9. I'm kinda lost coz there are a lot of unfamiliar medications and I'm scared I might fail. Could anyone please spare me some advice or techniques on how to review and is Kaplan really good? I'm here at New York by the way, so I hope there are nurses out there who have the taken the NCLEX here so I have somebody I can relate to. And I'm 2 years post BSN. I'm really desperate ! Thank you and Happy New Year.

We should support and encourage each other hopefully other February test takers will see this post and join :)

I'm starting a 30 day study doing kaplan q banks 100q/day and Hurst review for content!

Aww. Yeah. When are you taking yours?

We should get together and study. Im afraid to schedule becausr I feel like the same thing will happen again.

Hi! I'm taking the NCLEX RN February 7th and definitely counting down the days and praying all of the stress and ups and downs will be over in 3 weeks!!! My resources are hogan, live Kaplan review and live hurst review.

Hi! I hope we can pass and be successful RNs Next Month. What are your strategies in reviewing?

Aww. Don't lose hope. We can't tell what's gonna happen on the future. Just have faith. You can do it!

I can even though I did nclex 9 times. I always wanted to be a nurse and im not going to give uo 4 years of nursing school and those professors was hard work. GOD will help me just pray for me.

I too hope that we will pass and become awesome RNs February 2013!!!! I'm doing the Kaplan 5 week study plan. I started jan 1st. I do 100 qbank questions daily, read each rationale and review any content or disease process I'm unsure of. I've also started to review the study guide that floating around. And I study 5 out of 7 days. I have qtrainers 6 and 7 left to do and the sample questions. I have like 200 qbank questions left but my plan is to go through all of the incorrect questions again.

Hey lovebsn sounds like a good plan:yes: im doing kaplan qbank and hurst review for content. even though i have a hard time focusing my plan is to read:dead: a section (cardiac,GI,Fluids etc.) of the hurst review book daily then do 50-100 qbank reviewing the rationales. i took the trainers except for 7 and sample test 3 im going to do those a week before NCLEX date. My scores were q1.60% q2.54% q3.44%:dead: q4.54% q5.50%:dead: q6.67% sample1.58% sample2.52% Literally 29 days away:nailbiting:

don't be scared you can do it! you said you have the knowledge of the content all you have to do now is practice how to apply the knowledge. the best thing to do in my opinion is use strategy (ABC, safety, physical vs psychosocial, stable vs unstable, acute vs chronic)! For instance who would you see first? pt c/o of pain. pt short of breath. pt who is vomitting. pt who is depressed.
