What will you stand to lose if you do take that semester-long break?
I have overloaded myself on courses and have done fine. Is it doable? Yes. It is wise to do so? Most of the time, no.
A break may sound like the end of the world but it may just be a reasonable trade off to ensure your success and sanity.
A break may allow you to volunteer, network, relax, get a head start on future courses etc. too.

Hi all!I have to take Medsurg II and Microbiology this summer
Just wondering if anyone has done this before?and if it's even doable and possibly pass both?I'm getting really worried because I know both of these classes require A LOT of studying...and the fact that it's gonna be really fast-paced. If given a chance, I wouldn't even take medsurg with microbio but I pretty much don't have a choice. My school will not allow me to advance to OB&Peds this fall if haven't taken microbio. I'm a transfer student and my previous college didn't require us to take microbio to get into the nursing prog. Now I have to really take it -.- Advisor told me if I don't want to take it together, I will have to take a semester break from the nursing prog just to take micro
So, is it possible to survive these classes w/o flanking the other class? Sorry If I sound like I'm complaining, I'm just really worried
