I graduated in january 07 and am planning on getting a job in january 08. Will my employer ask when I graduated?? Does it make me look bad if I wait that long to take a job? thanks!
I plan on being out of the country for about twon months. The only thing I ma worried about is how it will look and if it will cause me to not be able to get work, everything else is not important.I wil make sure I dont loose my skills I wil read or do whatever I have to not forget. I have been getting jobs here and there so I am not desperate for work right now.Thats is a good idea though to inerview and tell them about my plans, I just hope they dont laugh in my face. Thanks for the advice.!
Taking a year off wouldn't look bad in particular. Just hope you make it sound good or positive at your job interview. I don't see any reason that the recruiter(s) will laugh at your face. But you do need to address that you intend to work full time and for many years once you start, just to show them that you are willing to stick with the job for a long while and with great compassion.
I also hope that you will not quit nursing at any time during this year, since it is after all what you've worked hard on and the nursing career is what you've dreamed about.
