how to take CRNE if im here at the philippines, i already knew the application process, ielts and all... my concern is how to sit on the exam if im currently staying here in the philippines, here are my options:

1. i have to go there? (what visa should i apply for? )

2. or should i seek for a job (e.g caregiver/nursing home) -so i can work there while

waiting for my eligibility?

by the way, my mom sis a nanny in saskatchewan for 1 1/2 years already, is there anything she can help me? how?

You can't write the exam until you receive approval from the college of nursing in the province to which you applied.

There is no shortage of nurses in Canada.

Thanks for answering itsmejuli

yah i know, what my plan is to process my application here and wait my eligibility/approval before i go there to sit the exam... means i have to fly going to canada just to sit the exam and go fly back to the philippines right after ... which is really expensive...

But what concerns me most is the "no shortage of nurses in Canada"?

its like i have to change my plan? since i have no any other plan aside from this.. im loosing hope now... =(

well i am a registered nurse with 1 year hospital experience here at the philippines... any advice on my career?

please answer =) thanks!

Yes there isn't a shortage of nurse despite what the government likes to make out if your dream is to live and work in Canada then with research, experience and determination there should be no reason to give up on a dream. There are ways to get PR without a job and once in the province you have applied to you can try and get onto casual work which can move towards part time and full time work. From next year it is the NCLEX so you may be able to take in the Philippines so no cost to come to Canada to sit exam

what you mean ''From next year it is the NCLEX''?

is it like the CRNE(canadian RN exam) will be replace by NCLEX by next year?
