Hi everyone,
I am doing Acute care NP and need to take a advanced physiology and pathophysiology class in order to make it to the clinical that starts this fall. My school decided not to offer it this summer. NOT advanced pathophysiology. Yes I don't see a lot of school has this class on the study plan, usually there are only three : advanced patho, advanced pharm, and advanced health assessment. But my school need this and pathopharmocology after completing those three. So if I don't find one, I will have to delay for a year and do clinical next fall.....
Anybody has any idea which school might offer this class in this summer? online is fine. even the one under biology dept. is fine. Thanks a lot!

This makes very little sense. You are in a program that requires you to take clinical this fall but you 1) haven't taken the required three P's and 2) they don't offer it? I feel there are other variables here that are not being stated.
Also, what is "the one under the biology dept?" I have not seen very many schools have any of the three P's not as a nursing course.
Thank you for your comment.
Based on the study plan that was provided by my program, I am required to take 5 core classes ( three Ps and two others) before starting clinical. I have completed 3Ps and have 2 left to be taken in this summer. if I complete the last two core classes as planed in this summer, I will be able to start clinical this fall. However, I just found out that one of last two core classes ( advanced human physiology and pathophysiology) is not offered this summer ( not enough people taking it). Therefore, I will have to take it in this fall and do nothing for next spring and summer, then start clinical next fall ( clinical only starts in fall).
I did some search under biology, no luck. I even checked under medical school.. very frustrating....

Did you ever find somewhere to take this class? I'm in the same situation. I need to take advanced pathophysiology, this summer, to start my post grad program, this fall.
my school eventually offered it after more people signed up to take it
