taiwan or south korea? help!

Published

hi! i really need help. i was supposed to take my exam on march 27 in saipan but i could not get any available flight anymore so i rescheduled my exam in taiwan on april 10. i get different feedbacks regarding nclex in taiwan. some say that getting a taiwan visa is more possible than getting a visa in south korea.some say the opposite. i don't know what to do anymore. i want to take my test as soon as possible because i don't think i still have the energy and motivation to review for another two months or more (because hongkong's next available schedule is on june 12). pls help!

Hong Kong always has dates opening at the last moment for people that booked and then cancelled. You will see the slots open up just a week or two before the exam.

hi! i just got a schedule in hongkong! im so happy!

to all those who plan to take their exam in south korea, you can visit

18th Floor The Pacifica Star Building

Se. Gil Puyat corner Makati Avenue

Makati City

i went there today and these are their visa requirements for those who will take nclex:

1. application form (you can get it there for free)

2 . 1 pc passport size colored picture

3. passport original

4. passport photocopy of first page (6months valid)

5. copy of US, New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Korea and Canada Visa (if there is)

6. PRC ID copy

7. NCLEX exam schedule (im not sure if this is the ATT or the email from pearson stating your exam schedule in korea)

8. personal bank certificate (original)

9. diploma photocopy

*if applicant is an employee, original employment certificate, bank certificate and ITR are needed

if you want to know about nclex in taiwan, check the thread "travel agency-help!"

i hope this will be of help.

hi liyam! what did you do to get a slot in Hongkong?... is it more better if i just contact pearsonvue or just by constantly looking at the scheduler...? tnx!

You must just keep checking the schedule. Pearson-Vue is unable to do anything unless there is a slot that opens.

You need to do the same things that the others here have done. And it will take considerable amount of work and patience on your part, it is not going to happen in an instant.

It is called being in the right place at the right time. There are always people cancelling appts for whatever reason, but there are also quite a few that want that coveted slot.
