Tacoma Community College 2017 applicants?

Hi everyone, I'm wondering who else applied at Tacoma Community College for Fall/Winter this year? I'm impatiently waiting for the lottery to be posted. What are you expecting your lottery numbers to be? Have you heard anything about the number of applicants? Do you have a backup school in mind? Looking forward to hopefully meeting some of you when the program starts!

I think it's typically 22-24 people. I think it's pretty random even with the weighted scores. But many people got in that were on alternate lists so don't worry if you don't get accepted right away. You have a pretty good chance of getting in based on the number of people that applied in Fall, the number of people that went somewhere else, and the number of people who held out for TCC that were accepted. Thanks for getting back to me! Yeah that's what I'm worried about....I have a great weighted score, but I've heard it's just a straight lottery...so...what's the point of weighting it? I wish I knew how they did their algorithms lol. Hopefully I'll get in though, between people going elsewhere, changing minds, etc. Longest week of my life waiting right now :p

I am thinking about applying to both TCC and Pierce but worried about the long wait. How long did it take you to get accepted into Pierce?

I'm curious to know if you got into Pierce? I am applying to both Pierce and TCC but don't know how long their waitlist is. I've heard a few years, I hope that's not the case!! Good Luck!
