Has anyone been able to use their tablet to complete their assignments online? and if so which tablet did you use? I work full-time and would love the flexibility to complete assignments during my down-time at work.

You cannot complete assignments on a tablet. Mostly, you cannot open assignments because you need Microsoft Word/Office and flash players. I have an iPad and it is totally useless for online classes, including general courses. The best thing I have found is a good notebook.

amyrnfa is correct, you will need something that has the full functionality of a computer. A netbook or ultrabook might prove to be more portable than a traditional laptop.
An example of a netbook would be the Acer Aspire One. They are miniature laptops with the full functionality of a PC, but are extremely light and have very long battery life.

You can try this: OnLive Desktop - Simple PC App Access from Anywhere
if you have a good wifi connection on your Ipad this app creates a virtual windows environment that has flash and Microsoft office. I have never tried it at UTA but hoping to soon
Thanks jbrody I'll give it a try.
Thank you Jbrody, my iPad works wonderfully with the NURS3645 online class. I'm able to watch the videos and complete all the assignments. I am truly amazed. I used the app that was recommended by jbrody.
It works, thanks a lot.
