Hi Sunnymom, that's a great plan! I have heard a lot of great things about Swedish. I did my interview beginning of December and I have not heard anything from the recruiter afterwards. The holidays can definitely delay or slow these process. I have been patiently waiting for them to email any information. I will sure to keep you all posted if I do receive any emails from them.
Hey everyone,
I had the opportunity to initially interview for L&D but, unfortunately the unit decided to not take new grads at the moment. Therefore, the nurse recruiter gave me another opportunity to have a panel interview for the Postpartum Unit. My interview occurred yesterday and I was wondering if anyone had already accepted offers for February 2018? I wanted to see what the time frame for offers were looking like? Best of luck to everyone!
I also interview for ED and ICU but I emailed the nurse recruiter yesterday and said that the ED, ICU, and L&D are the most competitive residency positions and have the fewest openings. Candidates that have their Bachelor degrees in nursing and have moderate to extensive experience in these specialties typically secure these positions during our first round of interviews.
I emailed if there were other positions opened and haven't heard back yet. Good luck to you too!

Hello, new grad nurses!
I applied to Swedish Medical Center in Washington State for their RN Residency program that starts in February. I applied four days after I passed my NCLEX-RN exam. The Recruiter contacted me the very next day! They told me to do a video interview which I did three days ago. I was wondering if anyone else has applied to their RN residency program. I am hoping to hear back from them soon, hopefully by next week.
