Hello everyone I am new to all nurses I wanted to know have anyone heard of The swedish Institute Nursing program? anyone apply? anyone attending? any info at all would be appreciated. :)
Jenece,
I got in and am just finishing my first semester at Swedish, which is the second semester in the program. The faculty are extremely nice and helpful. Like a lot of nursing programs, the content is hard but there is always help available, whether it is professors or students, we all try to help each other.
Yes the NLN Pax is difficult, but many schools use some sort of pre entrance test, personally I have taken the NLN Pax, TEAS-V, and the HESI for schools so that should not deter you from taking the test.
Good luck, and maybe I will see you in the halls...
You can still get in even if you didnt do well on the NLN-Pax exam? Can you elaborate?
I mean the admission rep told me if you don't score well it's still possible to get in if you sit with dean. I wouldn't discourage anyone from there dream but I am in contact with student at the school and she warned me against the school saying they are very unorganized and she wish she choose different but I wish you luck

Well I went to visit the school for myself today it was beautiful in appearance and everyone was nice they didn't have class today so it was empty. I like the fact that class size is only 20. I am trying to get over the fact that they are not accredited yet, they said they won't graduate there first class until September so there not even in candidacy yet. They do however now have an articulation agreement with Pacific College which is another massage school but when i went to Pacific College website it says BSN hollistic nursing. Just wanted update on what I have learned in case anyone cares
