NYU Spring 2015 ABSN
Hello everyone! I applied as a traditional transfer student. I sent in the common application August 1st and mailed all the recommendation letters and transcripts. I didn't see any priority attachment, I wonder if i can call and have someone answer that question for me. I'm terrified, it's hard getting into that program specially if you are a transfer student. 28% get in who are transfers.

NYU Traditional Transfers Spring 2015
I'm so anxious as well. It's tough to get in. I have been reading other polls and all I read is students that already hold a bachelors getting into the program and us transfers and traditional students are being cut. I wonder what is it they are really looking for in a student?

NYU Traditional Transfers Spring 2015
Wow, with that GPA your definitely getting in. I wonder if Spring semester has less applicants than Fall? If so this might increase our chances haha.

NYU Traditional Transfers Spring 2015
Greetings all! I'm making a thread for traditional transfer students who are applying to NYU in the Spring 2015. I would really like to talk about the application and GPA. I'm worried about my GPA, I am a 3.1 and i am going to take nutrition and Statistics this fall 2014. I went to the information they held yesterday in the NYU Genomics building. There they talked about The transfers, generics ans of course students who hold a Bachelors already. We Transfers are very hard to get into the program the woman said. we are 27-28% while the ones who hold the bachelors is 35% are accepted. They have a better chance. But what about us Transfers?

Swedish Institute?
The College is accredited. But it's not NLN accredited. When looking for nursing schools you have to look for two things. College accrediation, and NLN accredited. Go in the website, you see nothing about NLN accredited. Just trying to give you guys a fear warning.
-
Swedish Institute?
Oh man. But its not NLN approved. Just like ASA College. The NLN accreditation isent approved. Im going to Union County College. No Entrance test. The second largest Nursing program in the nation. with a 97% passing rate. Check it out.

Swedish Institute?
You can still get in even if you didnt do well on the NLN-Pax exam? Can you elaborate?

Thanks so much! Darn, so you pretty much have to complete all the pre reqs if you want to get in. Do they offer nursing classes during the summer?

Hello everyone, im a pre-nursing student. I have most of the pre-req for the Trinitas nursing school, im missing anatomy 1,2 and micro and chemistry. Do i have to complete all these classes to even be qualified in to the nursing program? And can we take 2 nursing classes in one semester? why or why not?
